It was a chilly, but beautiful winter day on Saturday, February 7 – and a perfect day to hit the slopes and ski for a good cause!
The 11th Annual Ski4Life, hosted by the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, took place at Ski Roundtop Mountain Resort. Skiers from all across Central PA gathered for a 6-hour ski and snowboard marathon – and most importantly – to raise money to support the LLS’s missions to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

If you happened to drive by Creative Elegance Boutique on Market Street in Camp Hill on the evening of March 29, you might have wondered why there was a big tent with hundreds of people celebrating underneath it. But this party wasn’t for a birthday, a retirement or a wedding. Rather, members of the community joined together for this special occasion to quite simply celebrate life – and to raise money to help those who are fighting for theirs.
