The Requirement – quite normal
When David Everett at JDK Catering incorporated the use of Tents, Lighting, Tables and Chairs for a client’s Wedding Reception, it was business as usual for Event Central. The Reception was planned at the beautiful Lauxmont Farms located on the Susquehanna River in Wrightsville. With an event as large as this (324 Guests) there was the usual steps to insure success: Site visit, Scaled Drawings, Planning with the Operations Team, and the execution utilizing 3 large trucks to deliver the product over 2 days. With our event management skills, we will use Temp Staffing for 2 days to suppliment the busiest weekend, without compromising quality. The Challange – quite unusual
The Wedding ends at 11:30 PM Saturday and we have to be clear of the site by 9:00 AM Sunday to make way for a Sunday Wedding!
The Plan – quite efficient and quite SAFE
The A Crew of 15 people converged on the site at Midnight, broken up into 3 teams. Team 1 focused on interiors knockdown, and truck loading. Team 2 focused on all the away goods and small tents, while Team 3 concentrated on the main tent, sidewall, lighting, power cords and supervising teams 1 and 2. The Centerpoles were being pulled at 2:30, and the trucks were pulling into the 24 Hour Diner on Rt 30 at 6:30 with an exhausted crew.
We pride ourselves on running a safe and clean business. If we are in your back yard for 2 days on a setup, you can be comfortable with the integrety and quality of the staff we use. When we leave the site, you can know the tent is installed per the Manufacturers specifications, and that we factored in the unique site conditions before we even set foot on the property with a installation crew.
Event Central has the recources to do any size job, from a Popcorn Machine rental at Commerce Bank to The Grand Opening of the Whitaker Center.
