If the current weather is any indication, there is no doubt fall is right around the corner! Whether you’re planning a fall wedding this year or sometime in the future, you can use the fall elements to make your wedding day extra romantic. Take a look at our top tips!

Pick a beautiful backdrop

Nothing says romantic fall wedding like a backdrop of colorful, changing leaves. Opt for an outdoor venue, at least for the ceremony, which will allow you and your guests to take in the majestic scenery of the season. An open field, wooded area or the base of the mountain are all stunning options.

Let the season inspire your wardrobe

Get inspired by the crisp air and bold colors of all and accent these elements with your wardrobe. This is a great time of year to wear a shrug over your wedding gown or to coordinate all of the bridesmaids with matching wraps for their dresses. Long dresses are not only romantic, they are also helpful for staying warm during outside photos. For the guys, think earth tones and rustic. Fall is the time of year to embrace the outdoors, so incorporate browns, golds, oranges and reds along with some plaid prints!

Theme your menu

Take your romantic fall wedding to the next level with a soul-warming menu that is inspired by the season. Think harvest! Hearty soups, fresh fruits and vegetable and of course pumpkin! A signature cocktail is a great opportunity to allude to your fall theme and up the romance. Our personal favorite is a mix of champagne and apple cider. Now that’s something to toast to!

Set the mood

For your fall wedding, add additional romance by incorporating candles and elements of fall into your centerpieces. Guests will love walking into your venue when they are greeted only by romantic candle light on your tables. Use leaves, acorns, pumpkins and gourds to decorate your tables and tie in the fall theme.
