It was a chilly, but beautiful winter day on Saturday, February 7 – and a perfect day to hit the slopes and ski for a good cause!

The 11th Annual Ski4Life, hosted by the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, took place at Ski Roundtop Mountain Resort. Skiers from all across Central PA gathered for a 6-hour ski and snowboard marathon – and most importantly – to raise money to support the LLS’s missions to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

Event Central was honored to make 2015 the 7th year we’ve been a part of this event. We supplied a 10×20 tent that all the participants went through before getting on the lift which served as both shelter an a way for the LLS team to log the participants involvement level.

This year’s Ski4Life event was an immensely successful event. Combined, the teams raised over $100,000! Best of all, they had a great time tearing up the mountain and many people made new friends who share a passion for fighting cancer.

In addition to Ski4Life, Event Central has supported the LLS at past fundraising events like the “Party With a Purpose” celebration planned by Kathy McCauslin-Cadieux, owner of Creative Elegance Boutique, as part of her campaign for LLC Man and Woman of the Year. It is always a rewarding experience to be able to provide rental items that help to create a more successful event to raise money for charity!

Here are a few photos from the Ski4Life event. We look forward to continuing to support the LLS, the community and many more charitable causes in the future!
