Layout and design was developed in-house by Andy Mattrick – Director of Marketing. Actual coding and production for the site was was developed by John Hawkins, 9Seeds of Las Vegas. Hawkins is well known in the WordPress community for his training and speaking engagements at the WordCamp events held across the country. The project was started February 2, and went live 12 weeks later. The greatest benefit of using the WordPress platform is that it allows us to do weekly updates to the site like publishing pictures and event stories in-house allowing immediate turnaround time. We invite our event partners to submit guest blogs written by their organization regarding events where Event Central’s equipment was in use.
