The City of Harrisburg sponsors the Annual Summer Concert Series at one of their most unique and quiet parks. During July and August the park hosts 7 concerts with music of all different types. Attendance is free with limited seating available on park benches directly in front of the covered stage. Most people bring their own lawn chairs or blankets, giving the option to sit close to the stage, or across the lake along Park-side Lane where the acoustics are wonderful because of the reflecting surface of the calm lake.

Event Central installed the Stage Cover for the summer season. On a hot afternoon, it is not uncommon to see neighborhood children taking advantage of the shade while playing in the park.
