The American Rental Association (ARA) held “The Rental Show 2013” this month at Sands Expo and Convention Center at Las Vegas. The show combines the Construction and Party Rental vendors on a single show floor. This is the main show for the United States and Canadian market. It is also an international event with vendors and rental stores from around the world.

In a Press Conference Tuesday, The American Rental Association (ARA) and its affiliated Insurance arm released the newly developed “Statement of Best Practices of Emergency Evacuation Planning for Tented Events” This landmark document was developed through the combined efforts of The ARA, and several industry leaders from party rental companies and tent manufacturers across the United States.

The West Shore Chamber held their 4th annual Wine Pairing event Tuesday in a most unusual place. The event was sponsored by Frampton Kimmel, a firm headed up by Chris Frampton and Jackie Kimmel to provide comprehensive financial planning services. The wine pairing was the fusion of carefully selected wines by Gene Zvolensky Capital Wine and Spirits with food prepared on site by Don Noss of Sir D’s Catering.
